Why pre-order? The slow cooking behind a real matka

A sealed matka is a commitment. Once the lid is closed we are not tossing the pot like a wok. That is the point of the dish.

One day gives us time to buy, soak rice, marinate, and cook without opening the lid “just to check”. Opening early lets the steam out.

Islamabad traffic to Rawalpindi still fits in our delivery window if the pot is ready. Same-hour orders do not.

The Wednesday pulao deal is the exception that proves the rule: it has a fixed 1:30 PM Wednesday slot. Everything else wants a full day’s notice.
